One day a guy told me that I came from the 23rd dimension 😂
As he seemed very serious, I inquired and I understood that these were the souls coming from the constellation of the Pleiades . From that day on, when I looked up in the sky at night, I was able to spot it 😱 Remaining doubtful, I controlled my intuition with an astronomy app and to my great astonishment I had systematically seen correctly. This made me want to take an interest in cosmogony, in the legends linked to this constellation which is one of the most documented in the history of humanity.
I discovered that in several civilizations it is the subject of stories and that in the West its 7 main stars are personified by seven sisters with incredible destinies.
Since then, I have immersed myself in the ancient writings of Greek and Roman mythology which allow me to imagine them with all their physical, psychic and psychological attributes in order to create a symbolic psycho-magical portrait in volume of each of them.
Jean-Loïc Le Quellec , French anthropologist and prehistorian, reveals this "What do myths reveal to us?" in his books or in the Arte program "Les idées grandes" .
"Etymologically, the term myth designates in Greek, a discourse, a story (...) We tell something, for there to be a myth we must tell a story (...) which touches on big questions which have always interested humanity, such as: Why is there the world? Why are there humans? What is there after death? What is there before life? (...) When these questions are asked, rather than rationalizing, we will tell a story which will reveal a truth about the world (...) by appealing to an event situated in the very distant past, an event which only appeared once (...) You have a previous state of the world, an event which the myth describes which reverses things and which justifies the present state of the world."
This is also a question widely explored by the psychologist, poet and writer of Spanish and Indian origin, Clarissa Pinkola Estes in her book "Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories about the Wild Woman Archetype" written in 1989. She will endeavor to restore the original stories of many myths and tales from around the world in order to restore the image they have of themselves and that the world sends back to them, relying on multiple versions not sabotaged by patriarchy or monotheism to re-emerge the deep, positive and initiatory content of these stories which has gradually disappeared over the course of centuries of transformation not very benevolent towards women.
She writes:
“Stories have immense power, they contain the remedies to regenerate lost psychic impulses.”
“Like medicine, stories reach the part of your psyche that needs them.” “Stories allow us to awaken the strengths within ourselves that will enable us to persevere. In the dark forest of our unconscious, we slowly but surely regain our grip on things.”
This work is for me the equivalent of an initiation rite towards the discovery of different facets of my unique and universal feminine psyche!
